Francis Auricchio

Mr. Francis Auricchio is a Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mission Microwave, bringing more than four decades of experience delivering advanced satellite communications hardware. He oversees the company’s strategic vision, product innovation, and market expansion in the global satellite industry.

Before founding Mission Microwave, Francis served as CEO of Wavestream Corporation, guiding the business to over $70 million in revenue and through a successful acquisition. Earlier in his career, he was a Senior Scientist and program manager at Boeing Satellite Systems (formerly Hughes Space and Communications), where he led major development programs for solid-state and low-noise amplifiers, MMIC devices, and high-power optical amplifiers for space applications.

Francis holds a Master of Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University and a bachelor’s degree in engineering technology from DeVry Institute of Technology.
