Dr. Morgan Chen: Vice President Engineering
Dr. Morgan Chen is Vice President of Engineering at Mission Microwave, leading a multidisciplinary team of electrical, radio frequency, mechanical, software, and test engineers. With more than 20 years of industry experience, he oversees the company’s functional engineering organization and drives innovation across product development. Dr. Chen is recognized for his deep expertise in microwave engineering, with design experience spanning devices, integrated circuits, multi-chip modules, and sub-systems.
Before joining Mission Microwave, Dr. Chen served as Manager of the Quantum Sensing team at Northrop Grumman, Director of Engineering at Lucix, and Director of Radio Frequency Engineering at L3Harris. His career has focused on advancing high-performance microwave solutions for mission-critical applications.
Dr. Chen earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley. He has authored more than 20 peer-reviewed papers and is co-author of the book LCP for Microwave Packages and Modules.
