Carl Emery

Mr. Carl Emery is a founder of Mission Microwave and serves as Vice President of Operations, bringing more than 40 years of experience in the satellite industry. His expertise spans the design, development, and production of RF electronics and antennas for both space and ground applications.

In his role, Mr. Emery oversees all aspects of Mission Microwave’s operations, including facilities, infrastructure, production, assembly, testing, supply chain, planning, purchasing, shipping and receiving, quality assurance, and certifications. He is recognized for advancing next-generation RF amplifier and electronics designs that are smaller, lighter, and faster to build and test, driving efficiency and innovation in manufacturing.

Mr. Emery’s career includes leadership roles as Section Head at TRW and Hughes/Boeing, Senior Engineer at Northrop Grumman, and Vice President of Operations at Wavestream. He holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is certified as a Green Belt in Six Sigma.
