Francis Auricchio is a visionary Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Mission Microwave, a trailblazer in high-performance satellite communications technology. With over 43 years of pioneering experience, Francis has been instrumental in redefining how advanced RF and microwave systems are designed, deployed, and scaled across global markets. Under his leadership, Mission Microwave has become synonymous with innovation, agility, and excellence in the satellite industry.

Before founding Mission Microwave, Francis served as CEO of Wavestream Corporation, where he transformed the company into a market leader, driving revenues beyond $70 million and orchestrating a successful acquisition. His strategic foresight and operational acumen positioned Wavestream as a key player in the satellite communications sector.

Earlier in his career, Francis held senior technical and program management roles at Boeing Satellite Systems (formerly Hughes Space and Communications), where he led groundbreaking development programs in solid-state power amplifiers, MMIC technologies, and high-power optical amplifiers for space-based platforms. His contributions helped shape the next generation of satellite payloads and RF subsystems.

Francis holds a Master of Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University and a Bachelor’s degree in engineering technology from DeVry Institute of Technology, reflecting his blend of technical mastery and business leadership.
