Mr. Mark Schmeichel: Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Mark Schmeichel serves as Chief Operating Officer at Mission Microwave, bringing more than 35 years of experience in RF amplification with 25 years in the SATCOM amplifier industry. His background spans cellular infrastructure, land mobile communications, and advanced satellite technologies, with a proven record of operational leadership and product innovation.
In his role, Mr. Schmeichel oversees operational excellence, business intelligence, and R&D management, while supporting the company’s profitability and long-term strategic goals. He focuses on guiding operational and engineering teams, driving continuous improvements, enhancing ERP data visibility, and developing business systems that increase efficiency and reduce warranty costs.
Prior to joining Mission Microwave, Mr. Schmeichel served as President of Power Electronics at CPI, COO of Comtech’s Satellite Networking Technology group, President of the Xicom Technologies division at Comtech, and Director/Chief Technologist at Teledyne, where he launched a startup amplifier group. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Northern Illinois University.
